I got a call that a young child's body had washed up at the lake and that two fishermen had found it. I proceeded to the scene, only to be blocked out by local police who refused my help. Initial thought?
...it all feels too convenient.

Will attempt to meet with Jeff for another interview.

Jeff's attorney was pushy but finally let me through to his client. I have a feeling he doesn't like me very much...

Met with Jeff at the County Jail to press him for more. Gave me info off-record about a private email account, not logged in evidence. Hardly used, but realize it might have some clues. Will research further.

Side Note-- Sheriff has personally requested that I back off. Claims the family needs room to grieve. What does he know? Just another attempt to get me off of this case? Hah, good luck.
